THE “AFTER” KITCHEN, Harrison, NY: The homeowners of this whole home project had a modern European sensibility. While their new home had great bones, the ornate details were not to their taste. The project included updating, replacing & modifying moldings in key areas including the kitchen. As with any whole house project priorities needed to be established, therefore they wanted to keep the existing kitchen cabinets. We replaced posts, fascia, trim and molding to modernize the style then spray painted the cabinetry a sophisticated deep gray. Lighting, faucets, sinks and hardware were updated. Wood island countertop was replaced with black Absolute granite. The back staircase runner was replaced to transition the new fresh look to the 2nd floor. The strategic redesign now looks & feels like home.
