This young girl’s bedroom was inspired by the mother’s and daughter’s agreed inspiration of roses and flowers. The daughter desired a glamorous, purple bedroom and the mother sought to have a timeless bedroom that could grow with her daughter. The design balances the two visions and is inherently feminine with its lavender walls and a white canopy bed wrapped with rose vines that can be removed in the future. Flowers continue to subtly enhance the theme with the perforated silver metal rose over the bed, a purple rose side table for her faux-fur cozy puff chair, fireplace inglenook pillows and art and a white plaster flower-bordered mirror. A soft lavender area rug creates a welcoming place to play, while a mirrored bedside table meets the girl’s need for a bit of “bling.” A white shelving unit and upholstered ottomans provide storage, while a classically styled desk gives a place for makeup and homework. Textured white linen drapery trimmed with a lavender stitched pattern hang from an acrylic rod. The inglenook seat cushions and pillows provide a welcoming place for reading and chatting with friends.
